PORTABLE DISPLAY ELEMENT AND APPLIED DEVICE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable display element small in size, light in weight, low in power consumption and high in resolution and to provide an applied device such as a head mount display(HMD) using the element. SOLUTION: In this portable display element, the unit pixel corresponds to at least one light emitting element which includes a light emitting layer 11 consisting of hyperfine particles as light emitting body, and a pair of electrodes 12 and 13 sandwiching the layer 11. These unit pixels are regularly arranged on a flat surface and the light emitting strength of each pixel is adjusted by varying the excitation current to the element. This applied device uses the element as the display elements.
