The pyranometer-albedometer sensor enables the measurement of diffuse and reflected global solar radiation. It consists of a row of thermo-electrical cells, which are positioned radially and are made up of metallic strips of manganine (1) and constantan (2), glued onto a mica film (3) that is perforated in advance in order to enable the welding of the two types of metallic strips. The hot junctions form a black disc (9) in the centre of the structure, and a black ring (10) concentric with the disc.
