<p>The invention concerns a method and device for characterising a modification in time of the state of condensation of droplets on a target (10). The device comprises means (20, 21) for emitting light capable of directing a light beam (42) on the target (10), a photosensitive cell (48) capable of measuring the intensity of a beam (46) reflected/transmitted from the target and sending a measurement signal, a unit (50) for processing the measurement signal connected to a photosensitive cell and capable of recording a function a(t) defined by a(t)=I(t)/Ii, in which Ii represents the intensity of the reflected/transmitted beam measured in the absence of droplets on the target and capable of determining, from the function a(t) one characteristic of the state of condensation of the droplets. The invention is useful for biological decontamination and for meteorology.</p> |
