The invention relates to a tool intended to set cardboard boxes for packaging to the dimensions of the products to be packaged, in an accurate and precise manner, in a very short time. The tool consists of a handle (A) fitted with a locking screw and with a tool-holder slide (B) which can accommodate accessories for: marking, tracing out, cutting. The part (2) of the handle should measure at least 1 cm more than the part of the slide fitted with its accessory. The tool according to the invention is particularly intended for setting cardboard boxes to the measurements of the objects to be packaged, quickly and accurately. <IMAGE>
