Regenerative electrochemical fuel cell

The fuel cell includes a liquid electrolyte (4) for the transformation of electric energy into chemical energy by device of electrolysis, and for the transformation of chemical energy into electric energy via cold combustion. The fuel cell is composed of several chambers (1; 2; 3) which receive the liquid electrolyte, which are connected mutually, and which are equipped, at least partially, with electrodes (5a; 5b; 6a; 6b) for the electrolysis and the cold combustion. The electrodes (6a; 6b) for the cold combustion swim in the electrolyte and project partially from the electrolyte with a part of their electrode body. The swimming electrodes comprise a surface increasing geometry at least in their body area penetrating the fluid level of the electrolyte.
