A valve block(4) is located between the feed pipe and connecting pipe for the pressure medium, and has an externally operated piston(8) which is axially moveable between two stops. The piston's length of movement corresponds to the required compression of the pressure medium for a ventilating position of the brake. The piston is installed in a bore(7) sealed and connected to the feed pipe and connecting bore(2) for pressure medium.
