An electrical connector is produced as a metal pressing that has a rolled over section at one end 11 and has a top section that is crimped onto the end of a wire. The connector fits into a housing of insulating material. The main section is formed with projecting lugs 6,8 and when the connector is pushed into the housing the lugs engage with surfaces to provide secure retention.
