The latticework for a crate (2) which can be inverted onto an emptying grille is mounted so that the upper flaps (3) are held against the external sides (4). The lattice is formed from a cardboard blank which is cut and grooved to form partitions (6) inside the crate receiving the bottles. These partitions wedge two neighbouring bottles (1). One of the partitions is connected to the bottom plate (15) and extended by a rigid extension (12) as far as the crate upper opening. This then serves a support between the grille and the crosspiece is held on the crate bottom.
