PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the remote control of a device to be controlled by controlling the device, based on the line-of-sight detection signal that is transmitted from an image-pickup device. SOLUTION: Signals are transmitted to a signal-processing circuit 4 from a CCD 3, which photographs a device 1 to be controlled while the device 1 is being image picked up by an image-pickup device 2. The circuit 4 converts the received signals into video signals which are transmitted to a line-of-sight detection circuit 8. Based on these video signals and the signal from a CCD 7, the line of sight of a photographer is detected. The detected line-of-sight detection signal is transmitted to a controller 12 via a communication circuit 9 and communication means 10 and 11. When the line-of-sight detection signal is transmitted to a control part 13 of the controller 12, a control circuit 14 controls a front-back drive part 16, a right-left drive part 17 and a rotary drive part 18 in a drive mechanism part 15. As a result, the automatic remote control is made possible for the device 1 without annoying switchings or required manual operations. |
