<p>A tape take-up (84, 131) including a first member (86, 132) having a first friction surface (110, 168), and a second member (88, 154) including a drum portion (100, 156) for taking up a tape, and having a second friction surface (106, 166), the first and/or second friction surfaces including an annular friction surface (110, 168, 106, 166), the first and second members being combined with each other such that the first and second members are rotatable relative to each other about an axis line of the drum portion while the first and second friction surfaces are held in contact with each other, one (88, 132) of the first and second members including a permanent magnet (104, 150), the other (86, 154) of the first and second members including a magnetic portion (92, 160) formed of a magnetic material, the permanent magnet and the magnetic portion having respective shapes which ensure that the permanent magnet and the magnetic portion are opposed to each other at any relative angular phase between the first and second members, the permanent magnet exerting, to the magnetic portion, a magnetic attraction force which causes the first and second friction surfaces to be held in contact with each other while the second member is not subjected to an external force greater than the attraction force, the attraction force permitting the second member to be separated from the first member when the second member is subjected to the external force. <IMAGE></p> |
