CONSTITUTION:Displacement, velocity and acceleration in a vertical direction to an end face being produced in a process that an elastic wave generated by adding an impact to the end face of a round bar 2 is propagated in the inner part, reaching one more end face and reflected. are set down to an input into an AE sensor 4 attached to the end face, while those of displacement, velocity and accleration being inputted are measured by a strain gauge 3 attaced to a side face of the round bar 2, and error compensation or the like on the basis of signal processing operation such as Fourier transform, Laplace transform, filter operation or the like and an elatic wave theory is performed for both outputs of the Ae sensor 4 and the strain gauge 3, through which such means as measuring gain-frequency characteristic, and phase-freqency charactaersitic in an acceleration detecting function of the AE sensor 4, gain-frequency characteristic, and phase-frequency charactaersitic in a speed detecting function, and gain-frequency charactaersitic and phase-frequency characteristic in a displacment detecting function are all used.
