<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a tape to run at a constant speed independently of the tape winding amount, by generating rotation control data for a take-up reel corresponding to a detected ratio of rotations of a feed reel and the take-up reel in accordance with a detected total tape winding amount, and controlling the rotation of the take-up reel. SOLUTION: To a tape travel control circuit 210, a rotation detection means 211 detecting a rotation of a feed reel 204, a rotation detection means 212 detecting a rotation of a take-up reel 206, an insertion detection switch 213 detecting whether a tape cassette 202 is inserted, a TT time detection circuit 214, and a tape end-detecting means 215 detecting an end of a magnetic tape 201, are connected. When the circuit 210 detects by the switch 213 that the tape cassette 202 is inserted, a total count of rotations of the take-up reel 206 when the magnetic tape 201 stored in the tape cassette 202 runs from a leading end to a terminal end is detected, and a tape travel control signal controlling a rotation of a reel motor 208 in accordance with a ratio of the feed reel 204 and take-up reel 206 when the magnetic tape 201 travels is generated, thereby controlling the travel of the magnetic tape.</p> |
