<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of a gaseous product into the atmosphere in partial-load operation and to reduce the power for rotating machinery in partial-load operation by unloading at least one rotating machine among the raw air blower, vacuum pump and purge blower in accordance with the detected flow rate of the gaseous product in partial-load operation. CONSTITUTION:At least one rotating machine among the raw air blower 1 for sending raw air to an adsorbent of a gas separator 6, vacuum pump 2 for desorbing the adsorbed gas from the adsorbent and purge blower 3 for sending a purge gas from a surge tank 4 to the adsorption tower 6 is unloaded in accordance with the detected flow rate 10 of the gaseous product. Consequently, the amt. of raw air to be sent to the adsorbent or the amt. of the gaseous product to be desorbed from the adsorbent is matched with the demand for the gaseous product, the supply of the purge gas from the surge tank is stopped or reduced, and the imbalance in the surge tank is obviated. Accordingly, the wasteful discharge of the gaseous product into the atmosphere is prevented, and the requisite power is reduced.</p> |
