PURPOSE:To miniaturize a fixed optical system by performing beam shaping by setting such relation that at least the plane on one side of the transmission planes of an optical path conversion prism inclines to incident light. CONSTITUTION:Light after passing an incident plane A is reflected on a reflecting plane B on which multi-coating that is total reflection coating is applied, and furthermore, is reflected on a reflecting plane C on which total reflection film whose phase same as that of the reflecting plane B is controlled is applied, thereby, the angle of the light is deflected by 45 deg.. The light after deflection forms an angle of 45 deg. with the reflecting plane C, and is emitted from an emitting plane D that is set at right angles to the light. Parallel rays whose cross-sections are formed elliptically receive shaping by the incident plane A that is one of the transmission planes of the optical path conversion prism 28, and is emitted as an ellipse F whose cross-section is formed differently from the one when it is made incident. |
