PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a minus ion emitting material at hand in a wide range safely and at a low cost by storing a mixture of granular tourmaline and granular adsorbent in a bag-like body formed by joining the peripheral parts of superposed permeable sheets to each other only by a specified percentage of the volume of the bag-like body. SOLUTION: A mixture of granular tourmaline 3 and granular adsorbent 4 is stored in a bag-like body 2 formed by joining the peripheral parts of superposed permeable sheets 1 to each other only by 30-80% of the volume of the bag-like body 2 to form a minus ion emitting material. It is desirable to connect plural bag-like bodies 2 to one another to be like a large sheet or mat. When large permeable sheets 1 are previously superposed and joint lines 5 are formed extending over the peripheral part and inner centers, the corresponding sheet can be obtained. Thus, a permanent minus ion emitting material can be placed at hand without a power supply so as to be useful for improvement in health and comfortability.
