PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball transfer device between pachinko island machines wherein amounts of reserved balls can be prevented from becoming excessive in a subsidiary pinball island machine of the island exchange type having no ball return device. SOLUTION: In a ball transfer device between pachinko island machines wherein balls are transferred through exchange troughs 1, 2, return troughs are provided, in a stacked form at the upper part of the through 1 to return balls in excess from a pachinko island machine A3 to an adjacent pachinko island machine A4, when the amount of balls reserved in the machine A3 having no ball return device 5 for returning prize balls taken by a player becomes excessive, whereby even if the amount of balls reserved in the machine A3 becomes excessive, the excessive balls are returned to the main machine A4 through the return troughs, and hence even if the amount of balls in the machine A3 increases, balls can be circulated smoothly in the machine A3.
