PURPOSE: A frame of a chair is provided to supply various shapes of chairs, to improve production efficiency by simplifying a production process and to prevent the chair from being depressed or inclined to one side. CONSTITUTION: A frame(1) is made up by cutting a steel plate with a universal device such as a laser. A protrusion(3) is fixed on one side face of the frame by welding. A depression preventive portion(5) is fixed on a lower part of the protrusion so that a frame of a chair is made up. Further, a frame is made up by cutting a steel plate of a certain thickness into a desired shape. A shape or a figure is engraved or inlaid on one surface of the frame. The protrusion is fixed on an upper part of the opposite side frame by welding. The depression preventive portion is fixed on a lower part of the protrusion. Then the frame is completed by painting the surface with a wanted color.
