PURPOSE: A structure for installing air conditioner is intended to easily carry out setting, maintaining, and repairing works for an air conditioner and to fixedly install the air conditioner by providing a structure adapted for setting an indoor unit(20) on one side wall for air conditioning. CONSTITUTION: In a structure for installing an air conditioner, a mounting plate(40) is provided with a plurality of supporting members(42) and fastening members(44) arranged with a proper interval, while a chassis(32) of an indoor unit(20) is formed with mounting hooks(34) supported on the supporting members(42) and working hooks(36). The working hooks(36) is adapted for using in a work for setting the indoor unit(20) or a maintaining or repairing work, while the mounting hooks(34) is adapted for setting the indoor unit(20). In addition, the mounting plate(40) is provided with locking members(44) having a plurality of fastening holes(45), so that hanging protrusions(39) of fixing member(38) formed on the back side of the indoor unit(20) are selectively fastened to the fastening holes(45). |
