PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain miniaturizing, simplifying and lightening of a paper money processor by eliminating a dedicated pressing member. SOLUTION: When accumulating paper moneys P on a stage 29 of a batch cassette 21 for paper money recovery, a temporary holding plate 27 of a temporary holding part 25 is moved up and paper moneys are accumulated on the stage 29 by a paying-out and accumulating means 26. Afterwards, the temporary holding plate 27 is moved down and paper moneys P on the stage 29 are pressed so that the creases of folding habits of paper moneys can be corrected.
