PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling sequence equipment or sequence controller capable of remarkably reducing the burden of a creator when preparing a sequence program. SOLUTION: The individual control elements of sequence equipment are controlled according to the sequence program. The sequence program is provided with Boolean value data for describing the operation of each of control elements with a binary digital value, namely, Boolean value, for example. In the Boolean value data, operation timing data describing operating start or operating stop are specified for each of logical addresses 'A1', 'A2'... specifying individual control elements. The Boolean value of '0' or '1' is related to each of operation timing data. At timing specified by the operation timing data, an arithmetic processing circuit can output a control current corresponding to the correspondent Boolean value to each of control elements.
