PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having good hue and saturation reproducibility. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material with at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive emulsion layer and at least one red-sensitive emulsion layer on the base, the red-sensitive emulsion layer has the maximum value of sensitivity in the wavelength range of 580-650 nm and the green-sensitive emulsion layer contains at least one magenta coupler of formula (MC-1) (where R1 is secondary or tertiary alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, acylamino, arylthio, alkylthio, aminocarbonylamino, alkoxycarbonylamino, carbamoyloxy or heterocyclic thio; G1 and G2 are each N or C; and R2 is a substituent bonding to C as G1 or G2).
