PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure for liquid surface detecting unit easy to attach and compact. SOLUTION: In the fixing structure for the liquid surface detection unit, the liquid surface detection unit 1 equipped with a float arm 4 provided with a float floating on liquid surface, an arm holder 17 holding the arm 4, a body frame 6 rotatably provided with the arm holder 17, a circuit substrate 7 fixed on the body frame 6, and a contact holder 22 having a slide contact 21 sliding on the circuit substrate 7 and fixed on the arm holder 17 is arranged on a fixing member 23 in a tank. In the fixing member 23, a guide 23a guiding the liquid surface detection unit 1 and a fitting part 26 formed by notching a part of the guide 23a are provided. To the liquid surface detection unit 1, an elastic piece 29 provided with a wall part 27 as a guided part guided by the guide part 23a and a hooking part 28 hooking the fitting part 26 are placed. The body frame 6 and at least a part of facing surface of the fixing member 23 contact in fixing.
