PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock ring insert device enabling easy inserting of a lock ring into a detachment preventing coupler trough a hole from the outer surface of a receive coupler to a groove on the inner surface of receive coupler in which an insert coupler is inserted. SOLUTION: A lock ring insert device for the detachment preventing coupler 10 can insert a lock ring 3a into a groove 2 on an inner surface of a receive coupler 1 through a hole 7 from the outer surface of the coupler 1 after the insertion of the insert coupler 5 made on the edge of pipe into the receive coupler 1 made on the edge of the other pipe. The frame 11 of the insert device can be assembled or disassembled freely by the lock ring setting bolt holes 12 on the other surface of the coupler 1. The threaded rod 16 is set on the frame 11 and is able to be rotated on the axis parallel to the axis of the hole 7 in which the lock ring is inserted. The transfer device 16c is screwed onto the rod 16. The rod 16 can be rotated in regular or reverse direction by the rotation of the device 16b. The joint 17 which can catch and release freely the lock ring 3a inserted into the hole 7 is installed in the transfer unit 16c.
