PURPOSE: A front and rear contact standard bar for a vehicle is provided to detect distance between a vehicle and articles during traveling by checking contact portions between the vehicle and articles through the standard bar, and to prevent the vehicle from being contacted to the articles by detecting the distance from the articles. CONSTITUTION: A standard bar of front and rear contact portions in a vehicle is composed of an assembling part(3) combined with the rear part of the vehicle regardless of indication of a number plate(5); an illuminating part(1) having a lighting apparatus to detect the contact portion between the vehicle and articles and measure the distance through the contact portion standard bar at night; a cable(4) supplying energy to light; and a flexible supporting bar(2) connecting the illuminating part and the assembling part, and preventing breakage or damage against impact. The standard bar is installed in the rear part of the vehicle to indicate the number plate, and the vehicle is traveled with checking the standard bar. A collision is prevented with detecting the distance from the articles and checking the contact portion through the standard bar.
