PURPOSE:To perform the title treatment through such procedures that the pesticides specifically applied in great quantities on golf course regions such as greens are recovered together with the effluent after sprinkling or rainwater and collected in a treating reservoir where said pesticides are degraded and removed and then the water resulted from such treatment is sprinkled again on the golf course. CONSTITUTION:The pesticides applied on the greens G1, G2 of a golf course are collected, together with effluent and rainwater, via perforated pipes 1 and water supply lines La, into intermediate tanks 3a, 3b, 3c as a green effluent W1. From which the effluent W1 is brought via water supply lines Lc to a treating reservoir 4, where a large quantity of air is fed, using e.g. an aerator 5, into water to degrade the pesticides by oxygen. The resulting water treated W2 is utilized again, through a sprinkling water feed line Lc, as the sprinkling water for the golf course. l1 is a replenishing water feed line, being actuated automatically in response to a water level sensor 10. Should an overflow occur with the water level raised due to e.g. a heavy rain, the water treated W2 is discharged via a water-discharging line l2 to a balancing reservoir 11. |
