PURPOSE:To clearly display the image of the part of the motion body in an examinee by taking out the signal from the part of the motion body to operate a Doppler power value and correcting a B-mode image signal on the basis of the coefficient almost inversely proportional to the Doppler power value. CONSTITUTION:The reflected wave or scattered wave from an examinee is applied to a transmitting and receiving part 3 and a B-mode processing part 10 receives the ultrasonic echo signal from the transmitting and receiving part 3 to perform processing such as logarithmic compression or envelope detection and takes out only the amplitude data of the ultrasonic echo signal to output the same as a B-mode image signal B. This B-mode image signal B enters one input of a B-mode correction part 30. An orthogonal detection part 4 receives the ultrasonic echo signal to allow a frequency region to fall to a base band frequency region and the ultrasonic echo signal is divided into an I-component and a Q-component in an MTI processing part 20 to be outputted. A power operation part 5 receives both components to perform Doppler power operation and the B-mode image signal is multiplied by the coefficient almost inversely proportional to the Doppler value in the B-mode correction part 30 to be outputted. |
