PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash memory whose constitution can be changed to a constitution corresponding to a plurality of kinds of common memory circuit. SOLUTION: In a flash memory, any kind of constitution is obtained by setting a kind information data to a kind information recording section (18) out of a plurality of combination of virtual banks in which a memory region is divided into a plurality of actual banks (BNK-A to D) and which has at least one bank and combination of a top boot where the highest order address is allotted to a boot bank having a boot sector and a bottom boot where the lowest order address is allotted to a boot bank.
