<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overflow or underflow at a reception buffer in digital data communication using a streaming reproducing method. SOLUTION: The reproduction start condition is changed according to a transmission device 1 to be communicated with. For this purpose, the reproduction start condition of transmission devices communicated with at past is stored at a history list storage unit 29. A reproduction start condition determination unit 210 monitors the start of a new communication and determines whether a transmission device 1 to be communicated with is registered at the history list storage unit 29 when the communication starts. If it is registered, reproduction is conducted using the stored reproduction start condition for the transmission device 1. If it is not registered, the identification information of the transmission device 1 and a reproduction start condition of the default are registered at the history list storage unit 29, and reproduction is conducted by the default reproduction start condition.</p> |
