CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF PIER FOR LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT

PURPOSE: A construction method of a pier for a light rail transit is provided to heighten safety rate by having enough stiffness against horizontal load, wind load and earthquake and to reduce the period and cost of construction. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of a pier for a light rail transit comprises the steps of: excavating the site for placing a pier; tamping the excavated surface using a roller; placing a shock absorber between a pier protector(17) and a support(3), then placing site concrete; fixing a pier protector dried after being manufactured with a primary reinforcing bar and primary concrete; installing a support(3) dried by typing a secondary reinforcing bar and placing secondary concrete between the pier protectors(17); installing a pier provided with an upper support(3) and a lower support toward both ends of a hollow tubular member on a footing structure with an anchor bolt(4); placing concrete into a tubular member; fixing a bridge seat(6) to the upper side of the upper support(3); fixing a trussed part(7) on the bridge seat(6); fixing an external finishing frame(8) to both upper sides of the trussed part(7); and fixing a finishing panel(9) to both sides of the external finishing frame(8).
