PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball-making machine that permits even an inexperienced person to automatically attain a production of many rice balls having the compacted surface layer and the core part of a soft and plump texture. SOLUTION: The rice ball-making machine has the first rotor 9 that rotates in one direction, the second rotor 10 that rotates in the other direction, a plurality of the upper side rice ball press and conveyers 11 that are hung down from the outer peripheral surface of the first rotor 9 to rotatably hold the upper side of a rice ball-making tool 6, and a plurality of the lower side rice ball receive and conveyers 12 that are attached upright near the periphery of the second rotor 10 to rotatably hold the lower side of the rice ball-making tool 6. The gaps 11a and 12a for receiving the extending tongue 6c of the rice ball tool are opened so that the expanding parts 6d, 6f of the tool 6 come into contact with the front face of the upper press conveyer 11 and the upper face of the lower side receive and conveyer 12 face whereby a rice ball M is formed in the rice ball-making tool as the tool rotates in one direction between the reversely rotating upper side rive ball press conveyer 11 and the lower side rice ball receive and conveyer 12. |
