The artificial insemination of rabbits with hazard elimination comprises using a dispensing gun (12) with a semen feed tank (15), a handle (13) and a trigger (14). An Independent claim is also included for apparatus implementing the process. The apparatus employs a special needle (7) in an adjustable cover (11) matching in size the penis of the rabbit and entering the vagina without the need for manual contact.
