The cover (2) is provided with a zip fastener (13) sewn to one of the shorter sides (9) in order to facilitate an easy removal for cleaning. Each corner (3, 4, 5, 6) and the center between the corners is fitted with specific fasteners (7, 7, 12) keeping the duvet (1) or blanket joined to the cover (2) during the night in particular when used by a person with the habit to move frequently. One of the items (1, 2) is provided with a fastening element with a central extension engaging with a matching recess at the second item (1, 2).
