<p>A vehicle body frame of a two-wheeled motor vehicle has a left and right pair of main frames and a left and right pair of rear arm brackets. The left and right pair of main frames branches away from a steering head pipe to the left and right of the vehicle and extends toward the rear, below the vehicle. The left and right pair of rear arm brackets each extends with bend from the rear end of the corresponding main frame toward below the vehicle. The steering head pipe is divided into the left and right, and the vehicle body frame is integrally formed as a pair of left-right divided frames where the left-right divided steering head pipe, the left and right pair of main frames, and the left and right pair of rear frame brackets are divided into the left and right. The left and right portions of the steering head pipe are fastened together to pivotally support a steering shaft. Engine installation boss portions are integrally formed with the pair of main frames of the pair of left-right divided frames. The boss portions are arranged in an inwardly extending manner within the width of the main frames of the left-right divided frames, and an engine is mounted on the boss portions. With the structure above, engine mounting is possible with the reduced number of components, so that costs and weight can be reduced. Further, since the boss portions are formed within the width of the main frames, the main frames and the boss portions have rigidity. Therefore, the boss portions are not particularly necessary to be large in size for rigidity, an engine can be mounted on the vehicle body frame at low costs, and the vehicle body frame can be reduced in weight.</p> |
