<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold capable of molding an optical part made of a resin having a fine unevenness forming surface, to which many fine recessed or protruded parts of a submicron order are formed, with good dimensional precision and capable of enhancing mold releasability. <P>SOLUTION: This mold for molding the optical part made of the resin having a fine uneven surface is equipped with first and second matrices for demarcating a cavity space, which has a fine unevenness forming surface having many fine recessed or protruded parts of a submicron order formed thereto, for molding the optical part made of the resin. A master mold 36 comprising an inorganic oxide layer having a fine unevenness forming surface 36a, to which an uneven shape inverse to the fine unevenness forming surface of the optical part made of the resin is formed, is provided to the inner surface of the first matrix and a coating layer 38 with a surface free energy of 4 μJ/cm<SP>2</SP>or below is formed on the fine unevenness forming surface 36a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
