<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding new cables, wherein the workability in installing a new cable and the workability in extending a coil for cable installation are markedly improved in engineering works of installing a new cable, in addition to the existing cable line. <P>SOLUTION: The existing cable line 20 is inserted into the hollow portion 17 of a pipe-like jig 10, and a coil 30 for cable installation is installed in the outer circumference of the cable body 11.
