<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a high strength coke by utilizing a woody material-based biomass effectively. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the coke is provided by crushing the biomass in a degree of≤10 mm by a crusher 1 in advance, conveying the crushed biomass into a solvent extraction vessel 2, solvent-extracting low molecular components contained in the biomass by using a solvent such as ethanol, etc., then heating at 150-350°C by a heater 3, compression-forming by a forming machine 4 to form a biomass-formed material, dry-distilling and carbonizing the biomass-formed material in a dry-distillation oven 7 to produce the coke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
