INFRARED FLUORESCENT SUBSTANCE AND INK COMPOSITION USING THE INFRARED FLUORESCENT SUBSTANCE AND PRINTED PRODUCT USING THE INK COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black infrared fluorescent substance readable with a bar code scanner or the like when used for conventional black and white bar codes or the like, and also readable when used as an infrared fluorescent substance.

SOLUTION: The infrared fluorescent substance is produced by carrying an inorganic substance having an absorption band in wavelengths of an infrared region on a black pigment reflecting or transmitting the light of the infrared region. The ink composition is produced by mixing the infrared fluorescent substance with a binder resin, or dispersing the black pigment with the inorganic substance and a binder resin in a solvent. The printed product is produced by printing the ink composition on a base film.
