<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative base table with a minute pattern of irregularities printed thereon by laminating a resin layer on the surface of the base table, applying thereto a crosslinked and oriented polyethylene film which is characterized by a high density and a high degree of crosslinking, pressing them to transfer a pattern of irregularities from the film to the surface of resin layer and removing the film therefrom. CONSTITUTION:To the surface of a base table 1, a printed paper 2 is pasted with an adhesive agent. A resin layer 3 is laminated on the printed paper 2. A crosslinked and oriented polyethylene film 4B having a pattern of irregularities is applied on this resin layer 3. The crosslinked and oriented polyethylene film 4B is pressed by means of a press roll 5 under almost as much a pressure as the resin layer 3 is made even and then the resin layer 3 is cured and allowed to stand for aging, followed by peeling off the crosslinked and oriented polyethylene film 4B.</p> |
