PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of blast furnace cement by blending zeolite and metakaolin with cement consisting of pulverized powder of granulated blast furnace slag and silicic acid alkali. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed amounts of aqueous solution of silicic acid alkali, such as sodium methasilicate, about 5wt.% pulverized powder of zeolite, and about 5wt.% pulverized powder of metakaolin are blended with a pulverized powder of granulated blast furnace slag, by which blast furnace cement in which the occurrence of a drying shrinkage phenomenon and a phenomenon of deterioration with the lapse of time is prevented and characteristics, such as super high early strength characteristics and high strength revealing property, are improved can be obtained. Further, blast furnace cement improved in characteristics can be obtained similarly even if a pulverized powder of zeolite which is regulated to the prescribed content or above by impregnating prescribed amounts of aqueous solution of silicic acid alkali and drying shrinkage reducing agent is blended with a pulverized powder of alkali granulated blast furnace slag. |
