The invention relates to the discharge outlets of air coolant, in particular, to the louvered apparatuses of cooling chamber of diesel locomotive. A louvered apparatus contains a fairing of fan, to which a housing is attached, to which the louvered folds in the form of lobes are attached. The device has leading and slave louvered folds, which are made from thin sheet of plastic. Each louvered fold is hingedly connected with the housing of louvered apparatus. The part of the leading fold, which rests on the fairing of the fan is wider than in the slave fold. The side parts of leading folds are bent toward inside of slave folds and form inter-fold chutes. The supports of folds in the closed position are the fairing of fan and the inter-fold chutes. Converging nozzle section is the limiter of folds in the open state. The invention contributes to the decrease of resistance of louvered apparatus and to increase of cooling efficiency of the power units of diesel locomotive.
