A device for an article, used for changing a string-end securing portion, where the device is constructed such that first and second sliders (21a, 21b) are inserted through a common fastener chain with shoulders of the sliders opposed to each other. The first and second sliders (21a, 21b) are connected by a connection member (27), and the first slider (21a) has a stop claw (29). The device for changing a string-end fixation portion is installed at a portion change operation section of the article, one end of a string (3) or the like is secured to the first and second sliders (21a, 21b) or to the connection member (27), and the other end is secured to a string-end securing portion of the article. The construction enables the string-end securing portion to move, and in addition, after changing operation of the string-end securing portion, the string-end securing portion is maintained. Also, even when the string or the like secured to the sliders etc. is released from the restraint, it can be easily re-secured. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008 |
