<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standard frame which reduces the labor of releasing a lock metal fitting by half when a hand frame is removed from the standard frame for a scaffolding used at a construction site or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The standard frame for the scaffolding is provided with a plurality of the lock metal fittings which are fitted into the mounting holes of the hand frame or a bracing. One of a pair of the lock metal fittings set at a vertical pillar constituting the standard frame is a movable lock metal fitting, and the other of the pair of the lock metal fittings is a fixed lock metal fitting having a step on a half way of the length of the lock metal fitting.
