PURPOSE:To increase the system subscriber capacity by providing a transmitter- receiver having a specific frequency and a transmitter-receiver having a common frequency to each radio base station. CONSTITUTION:When call units of a service area of a radio base station 1 are increased and all frequencies (E1-En) are occupied, frequencies (S1-Sn) used in common with other radio base station are used. Moreover, in this case, when call units of a service area of a radio base station 2 are increased and specific frequencies (D1-Dn) are occupied, the frequencies (S1-Sn) used in each radio base station are used. Thus, an exchange station gives a command not to select a same frequency simultaneously to the radio base station in order to prevent the interference with the frequency used by the adjacent radio base station 1 and sets the common frequency. Thus, each radio base station allows number of subscribers in excess of a predetermined number to use the service thereby increasing the equivalent subscriber capacity. |
