A wide band frequency synthesizing device for a multi-band and a multi-mode and method thereof are provided to reduce a generation of a spurious by reducing the number of mixer included in a frequency synthesizer. A wide band frequency synthesizing device for a multi-band and a multi-mode includes a fundamental frequency generation unit, first to fourth frequency generation units(120), first to third mixing units(130), and first to third selection units(140). The fundamental frequency generation unit generates a predetermined fundamental frequency. The first frequency generation unit generates a first frequency which is a half of the fundamental frequency using the fundamental frequency. The second frequency generation unit generates a second which is a half of the first frequency using the first frequency. The third frequency generation unit generates a third frequency which is a half of the second frequency. The fourth frequency generation unit generates a fourth frequency which is a third of the second frequency. The first mixing unit generates a fifth frequency as the sum of the fundamental frequency and the third frequency. The first selection unit selects one of the first frequency and the second frequency. The second mixing unit generates a six frequency as the sum of the fifth frequency and an output of the first selection unit. The second mixing unit generates a seventh frequency as a minus of the output of the first frequency selection unit and the fifth frequency. The second selection unit selects one of the fifth frequency, the sixth frequency and the seventh frequency. The third mixing unit generates an eighth frequency as the sum of the fourth frequency and an output of the second selection unit. The third mixing unit generates a ninth frequency as the minus of the output of the second selection and the fourth frequency. The third selection unit selects one of the eighth frequency, the ninth frequency and the output of the third mixing unit. |
