PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer and a replenisher developer capable of retaining high image quality and good charge stability. SOLUTION: The two-component developer contains a magnetic carrier and a toner. The magnetic carrier contains resin-containing magnetic particles containing a resin in the holes in porous magnetic core particles, which has an apparent densityρ1 (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) of 0.80-2.40 and a true densityρ2 (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) satisfying aρ1 toρ2 ratio of 0.20-0.42, and has a specific resistance of 1.0×10<SP>3</SP>-5.0×10<SP>7</SP>Ωcm. The toner is obtained by an emulsion aggregation method, has a weight average particle diameter (D4) of 3.0-8.0μm, and contains≤30% by number of particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.60-2.00μm as measured with a flow type particle image measuring device.
