<p>The present invention relates to a process for preparing a semifinished material to be used for manufacturing leather- like and coated fabric items obtained by depositing at least one layer of a liquid coagulating mixture comprising a polycarbonate-based polyurethane, an organic solvent, and optionally water on a woven or non-woven substrate, and coagulating it and a semifinished product that can be obtained by means of said Process.
