PURPOSE:To obtain high reliability to obviate the deterioration in performance by successively laminating a core part coating layer, a clad layer embedding and holding cores on the lower surface side and a light transmissive reinforcing material on a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:This optical waveguide array is constituted by successively laminating the core part coating layer 9, the clad layer 5 embedding and holding the cores 8 on the lower surface side and the light transmissive reinforcing material 3 on the reinforcing member 10. The optical waveguide array is constructed by providing the light transmissive reinforcing material 3 on the uppermost layer, by which the light of a prescribed wavelength can be transmitted into the array at the time of array assembly, the curing of the photosetting resin layer is increased, the secure adhesion between the optical waveguide and the light transmissive reinforcing plate is assured and the reliability is improved. The deterioration in the performance is prevented in this way. |
