PURPOSE:To prevent a detector from degrading by driving a d.c. voltage driving circuit quickly when jumping from a small mass number to a large mass number is carried out and driving an a.c. voltage driving circuit quickly when jumping from a large mass number to a small mass number is carried out. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit CPU 21, a D/A converter 22 for mass axis setting, a first and a second delay circuits 23a, 23b, a d.c. voltage driving circuit 24, and an a.c. voltage driving circuit 25 are installed. When jumping from a small mass number to a large mass number is carried out, the d.c. voltage driving circuit 24 is driven quickly through the first delay circuit 23a and when jumping from a large mass number to a small mass number is carried out, the a.c. voltage driving circuit 25 is driven quickly through the second delay circuit 23b. As a result, a detector is prevented from degrading even at the time of jumping the mass axis. |
