A caller ID display method based on the frequency of call and a terminal thereof are provided to analyze information exchanged in a communication process between a user and the other party by using the data mining technique, and then set and display information differently according to the other parties by applying information extracted from the analyzed result. A closeness value processing unit(320) collects information about the closeness with the other party, and then reflects the collected closeness value to increase the closeness value stored in a storage unit(330) in real time. A central processing unit(310) reflects information received from the closeness value processing unit, and then displays a caller ID. The storage unit includes a phone book database(332) and a connection information database(334). The phone book database stores closeness values and information about names of the other parties, phone numbers and e-mail addresses designated by a user. The connection information database stores connection information of the user for setting up the closeness values. |
