A diet service system is provided to calculate calorie for a diet by including a diet calorie counting function to a mobile communications terminal like a cellular phone, a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal, a WiBro(Wireless Broadband) terminal, an HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) terminal, etc and easily update a current program by downloading a diet calorie counting program and various information necessary for the diet through a data communications network. A user terminal(100) stores a diet service program. The diet service program reckons the momentum of a user according to a request of the user, determines whether the reckoned momentum is the extent of exhausting the calorie of food which the user takes, and outputs an alarm or a voice comment about calorie excess and motion induction. A diet service server(300) is connected to the user terminal online through a data communications network(200) and checks and updates the current version of the diet service program stored in the user terminal. |
